High Life is a really cool project Ive been bangin sice May and completely forgot to share. British producer Vanilla isnt new to this, and has some previous release that you can grab HERE as well as this 27 track gem. Enjoy!
Brainfeeder has been coming correct in 2011 and Samiyams’s latest release is no exception. I’ve heard comparisons of Sam Baker’s Album to Dilla’s Donuts but it’s not quite that. I’m not saying it’s not good, because it is, but it’s just a completely different genre and to be honest a completely different paradigm. This is for those who like the wonky, electronic beats along with their soul and Hip Hop. Enjoy!
Here’s one that I thought I showcased on the site before, but sadly I hadn’t. It’s only fitting that I pull this out now while we’re busting your ears wide open with ATCQ posts. The drums on this one transport it from the Dilla sound of the OG version to the “collaboration” sound of the original members on earlier albums. This track was featured as a part of J Finesse’s Parts of the Whole EP (download) which was a prelude to many of his upcoming projects. His latest release, The Soulful Resuscitation is available now. Get it HERE

We put you on to Dru Carter HERE, but now find out more about his crew. Lost and Found was created while the 3 young men, Artistik, K-Ro, and Dru Carter pursued degrees at the HBCU Miles College. Dedicated to providing positive and lyrical music that captures the ears of real hip hop/jazz heads, I’m sure you’re going to love their self titled FreeP. The three man crew will draw many comparisons, I’m sure, but you’ll hear that these cats are also bringing something new to the table as well. Cop the EP HERE and peep Dru’s remix of the Dilla produced Mos Def/Kweli collaboration History HERE
Here’s a name that’s been popping up on our site a lot recently with remixes for Dilla, Eric Roberson, Yahzarah and more (listen HERE). Upon
Now THIS is a dope beat tape! The 18 year old Beatsofree?n has unleashed this gem courtesy of the good people at 88tillinfinity and I was pleasantly surprised upon listening. Future Memoriesis described as having a “Dilla meets Flying Lotus-feel” and “an electronic album with a new school soul-feel.” That sounded promising but unlikely, and I’m here to assure you that it’s spot on. Get the FREE download HERE and give your ears some pleasure!
