It’s always a good time to get new music from Nubya Garcia. Lean In is the most recent in a slow release of singles, but no info on an album release since 2021’s remix album, Source + We Move. Sadly, I wasn’t able to make it to the star-studded We Out Here Fest to see her live but Lean In is an acceptable substitute. Fresh, and full of energy, Lean In finds the saxophonist/composer and crew cookin’ over a fast paced groove that just feels good.
