Yussef Dayes – Black Classical Music

Drummer/Composer Yussef Days is set to deliver his latest offering Black Classical Music September 8, 2023. The upcoming album’s title refers to the description some use for Jazz, which is also designated as America’s only original art form. Both of these descriptives can become subjects of debate, but its undebatable how fire the 4 released singles from this project are. The titular track is the perfect setoff with its clarion call & energetic vibe but my favorite , so far, is Tioga Pass featuring Rocco Palladino.
