Woo Park’s debut album Smokes is a jazzy introduction to their unique musical universe. Their groove is described as “a kind of Generation Y Jazz with a medley of influences from rock to electronica” but i think the all encompassing four letter word, FUNK does a much better job of classifying their sound. Im sure they’ll draw many comparisons but theyre definitely in a space all their own that’s brighter and more beautiful than the rampant, formula following fodder readily available on the scene right now
