I’ve been checking for music from these two since earlier projects like TiRon‘s “Ketchup & MSTRD” series and Ayomari‘s “PB&J Solution” a couple years back.
Though I copped “A Sucker For Pumps“, where the visuals for this track come from, it didn’t stay in rotation too long for me save for this track. Maybe it was the wordplay displayed or it could have been the nod factor of D.K.’s production and those Slick Rick samples.
Me thinks it also had a lot to do with the reappearance of Ms. Bingham on the hook, as she hasn’t been heard from very much since she told Jadakiss to “Come Get It” and gave De La Soul “Much More“.
As far as the visuals go, its a clever piece of work that will certainly make the coldest of hearts crack a grin.
