Fresh from the release of 2011’s well regarded debut album, Flight Of The Ancients, The Shaolin Afronauts will release the new single Brooklyn from the soon to be follow up album Quest Under Capricorn. The sounds you hear on Brooklyn are much like the city it’s named for, a fresh fusion that leaves you wanting more. This single “displays the bands musical progression. Whilst the multi layered afro rhythms remain, as well the hypnotic horns and melodic interplay, the soulful, jazz inspired harmony has been taken up several levels to a quite stunning effect.”
