Silent NY is a great take on the 90’s Jazz Hop hybrid sound cultivated by groups like Buckshot Lefonque and US3 that’s not as prevalent anymore. Genevieve, on the other hand, fills the gap left by chillout groups like Koop that were often powered by female vocals. The Incognito Traveller’s goal is to bridge geographical boundaries but these tracks bridge musical ones as well, reminding us of genres not soon thought of
