The Echocentrics are Grammy winning producer Adrian Quesada (Grupo Fantasma, Ocote Soul Sounds and Brownout), with Natalia Clavier and Tita Lima on vocals. Their sound is primarily instrumental, with some really souled out tunes that put you in the mind of The Meters or War to Bonobo. The press release describes their sounds as “southern-fried, laid back, and psychedelic” which is really spot on but doesn’t fully cover the experience of The Echocentrics album.
