The Chicago emcee returns with his 2009 album Still Hear. I heard stellar things about this project throughout the blogosphere, which made me decide to pick it up. The lyrics, at times, made me happy to possess the ability to isolate the rhymes from the production. The producer does a great job of creating the type of beats I desire, however my only beef with the production is the large amount of commonly used or popularly used samples. NOW, on to my favorite song on the album, Inside Your Mind! Those popularly used samples I spoke about earlier, Inside Your Mind contains one, however this is one of the tracks on the album where the marriage of the beats and the rhyme make that recycled sample an afterthought.
