When MPM let the cat out of the bag on this project I must admit I was excited! I assumed it would be a collaborative project, instead it’s each producer’s release combined into one album. MPM has released singles from each producer and their distinctive styles shine through. Suff Daddy combines a Stevie and Erick Sermon for his Hip Hop/Soul homage Suffdigi (listen) and Ta-Ku lets the beat bang before smoothing it out on Sway. If these joints are any indication of what Bricks & Mortar will sound like, our ears are in for a treat!
