I received an email from Fresh Daily last month with no text, just a link to Suede Jury’s Soul Sista video (download)(view). I watched it, dug it, and decided to do some research on the brother. Soul Sista appears on early 2012’s Dreamer’s Block, but Directions for Tomorrow, released just before 2013 is where you begin to glimpse Suede’s potential. He calls the project a compilation of sketches – maybe it’s the lack of pressure to perform both vocal and production duties or the fear of the end of the world, but it’s a solid compilation of tracks that will engage from beginning to end.
