Shade Cobain is a producer that we’ve been following for some time now and we’ve been fortunate enough to see some real growth in his work (link). Cassette Theory was my favorite but this one has quickly taken it’s place as Shade creates some really nice beats from a gang of sources. There is also a predominant Ummah-era feel on this release that takes you back to a time when you could really relax and enjoy Hip Hop. Settle down class, and let Prof. Cobain begin his lecture. You will leave most enlightened!
