Never heard of rising rap superstar Shad before? Neither had I, but I picked up his latest album TSOL on the strength of all the props I kept hearing for the highly acclaimed The Old Prince. Known for his witty wordplay, Shad doesn’t disappoint with the rhymes or the beat selection on TSOL although I do have my favorites.
