Sarasvati – Build Bridges To Love

“Sarasvati is the Hindu goddess of all arts: music, painting, sculpture, dance, and writing. She is credited with giving this gift to mankind so that her songs could be written down and preserved. (Lunea.com). In modern times, there’s another Sarasvati, and she too has the gift of music. With her new EP, “Build Bridges To Love”, which she wrote, Sarasvati provides listeners with a combination of knowledge and music, which, at least in this reviewer’s opinion, are a sensual combination. The songs on this EP speak to wisdom, and Sarasvati aptly shows her prowess as both a singer and songwriter. “Gold Scraps”is the first time you hear her wonderful voice, with a tone that’s easy to listen to, and the messages are about how meaningless physical wealth is when you can have love in your life.  The synthesizer bass is deep, and the drum beat is minimal, but every choice makes sense. “Crush” and “Audio Hands” confirm that Sarasvati has her own sound, and her material is enjoyable without having to go to the gutter to be charming. The music is nice down tempo, but not overproduced. Sarasvati harmonizes and phrases her lines very well. Embrace the sound of Sarasvati. This is only the beginning.
