Rochelle Jordan’s second digital release, P R E S S U R E is now available en masse.
Coming back to the forefront since dropping R O J O on the interwebs last year, the Toronto native and her longtime in-house producer KLSH, look to pick up where they left off, negating the misguided theory that contemporary 90’s R&B / Soul can’t be effectively blended with a progressive sound and still have massive amounts of appeal.
Teasing us earlier this summer with the soulful lamentations of “Losing” and the smooth head nodding admonishment of “Too Long“, Jordan displayed a decidedly fresher, cerebral yet emotional edge to her songwriting than was previously present, citing that she and KLSH spent a lot of time refining and honing their sound.

The same hods true for the upgrade in production, as KLSH splashes stuttering hi-hats, bass heavy brushstrokes and other colorfully catchy sounds on his audio canvas with a technique that seamlessly gradients into Jordan’s well equipped, Aaliyah like vocals perfectly.
