Last month while perusing the innanets in search of more goodness to bring your way, I happened upon this track from Brooklyn newcomer Rashad. I added it to my rotation on the recommendation of a few other spots but for some reason, the shuffle option on my media player kept skipping over it…until this morning.

The #throwback 90’s vibe of it caught me off guard and instantly transported me. Rashad has definitely studied the time period’s cadences (photo poses too it seems) and producer Confidence must have cut his teeth on the entire Gangstarr discography.
