Over the gritty boom bap I’ve now come to expect from him, Confidence gives us a dense head nodding soundbed of horns, keys, drum-kicks and plenty of Primo-esque samples, making Purpose‘s rapid fire syllables and Estee Nack‘s leisurely, punchline driven flows command your full attention.
What begins as a solid jawnt from a crew I’d like to hear more from unfortunately makes a sharp left turn after the second verse.
