I’m not a fan of artists performing over producer’s tracks if it isn’t a true collaboration because it usually sounds disjointed and awkward. SoCal emcee/producer Brian to Earth, however does a fantastic job of rhyming over beats by Suff Daddy, Madlib, and Melodiesinfonie among others without sounding completely out of sorts.
