It seems like Tensei entered every remix competition that has been announced recently. (Listen Here) We don’t mind, though, because all of their entries have been dope. I must admit I was very disappointed with the other Robots remixes that I checked out (and I know I didn’t hear all of them) but this one definitely stands out. It’s a funky, baroque piece that complements the song and doesn’t get overwhelmed by the vocals and arrangement. They’ve created a cohesive track that sounds like it could have very well been the original. Kudos

Here’s a treat from a rare and hard to find 12″ Madlib put together when he was really putting out a lot of remixes. He completely fonked this one out and adds that trademark Madlib feel to it, all while still keeping it surprisingly sexy. Just a great gem to pop in the deck. Enjoy!
