Mojo Green aka FatNice and producer Hezekiah double team this classic Curtis Mayfield gem to mixed result. The brothers did a great job of reproducing the track but as one of my favorite songs, I was really looking for Mojo Green to add more of his individual flavor in addition to maintaining the falsetto. I’m sure tackling a classic is difficult and adding your own stamp can cause stodgy critique but that’s part of the risk right? Is it worth a listen though?
