If you’ve been following Lyrics Born then you’ve been keeping up with his evolution as an emcee. He definitely takes it there on As U Were, and thats if you can deal with the beat selection. My favorite track off of his 8th solo release is the Cameo meets The Gap Band groover Coulda Shoulda Woulda. This one can easily help deejays transition from an old school set to a hip hop groove and keep the dance floor packed and having them chanting the artists name at the 3:53 mark.
