Lee Fields and the Expressions – Ladies

I have been seeing Lee Fields and the Expressions ads EVERYWHERE. Being the noconformist that I am, I decided to ignore them…until my curiosity got the best of me. Boy, was I depriving myself! Please please please Pick up My World, the album is the perfect bridge between 70s funk and the present. Although he brings some serious FONK, the album NEVER sounds dated and if you’re a Bobby Womack fan, he definitely takes you there.
