Albanek released their 2003 album Shade of Blue on Austrian record label Ecco Chamber. The first time I heard the third track, Smile At A Stranger, I was floored. I had never heard anything like it before and am thankful for spots like Moods Music that expose us to different tunes. This was loooong before music was so accessible on the internet! I think this was one of the albums I bought on my first pilgrimage to Moods and just rediscovered yesterday when I added Shade of Blue to my iPod. It still sounds good. Check it out
