Jose James – The Healer ft Ebban Dorsey (Erykah Badu tribute)

I haven’t been elated about a music release in quite some time but the news of Jose James’ Erykah Badu tribute album has me supremely ecstatic like it’s a Soulquarian release in the late 90s. Sadly, the 7 track project, On & On won’t be released until Jan 2023. However, Jose blessed us with this fantastic cover of The Healer which is a satisfying amuse bouche before we receive, what I hope will be, a satisfying entree. 4th Quarter 2022 is almost gone, but what way to bring in 2023!
