Stay Kind in the Mind is the followup to Vogt’s Sea Creatures and is a really solid release for the StepPepper Records roster. Described as “a colorful, up-tempo beat tape — an electronic treat — a solid blend of future funk, compressed kicks and fluttering rhythms,” it’s very jazzy with several compositions that compelled me to press repeat.
