Don’t let the title fool you. This is not going to be an album of Eastern inspired tunes, but will be more of the jazzy, electro soul that we’ve come to expect from IG Culture. Guests include Bilal Salaam, John Robinson, Eagle Nebula and more that help IG pay homage to some of soul music’s great artists. IG says,
“It feels right to me to link the music from musicians like Harry Whitaker, Gil Scott Heron, and the Mizells. They should be household names, but the younger generation don’t necessarily know who these people are.”
