It’s that special time of year again.
You know the one. When people from all over the world head to the U.K. for the largest greenfield music and performing arts festival in the world commonly known as Glastonbury. Slated to perform so far this year are U2, Morrissey, Paul Simon, Beyonce and Coldplay among other acts, well-known and off the radar.
Past years of the festival’s glory have seen more and more Hip-Hop, Soul and Electronica acts grace the stage and this year proves to be no exception as Wu-Tang, Big Boi, Cee-Lo Green, Janelle Monáe and Aloe Blacc look to be in this years official mix as well as Little Dragon, The Noisettes, Jamie Woon and James Blake.
If you’re lucky enough to attend this years shindig starting today and rounding up on the 26th, then good on ya. If you’re like me and have yet to make the trip across the pond, no worries as RCRD LBL has been kind enough to put together a heavy mix of free tracks from some of those known/unknown yet stellar artists on the bill.
