Over a well crafted loop/sample/interpolation of the timeless opus that is Marvin Gaye’s “What’s Going On“, Ayah beautifully harmonizes with herself while speaking on the subject of a love that can’t be. And the inspired breakdown that Jeff brings in at mark 3:19 is so </on point >, I find myself running it back every time just hear the smoothness of the transition.
I’ve been following her progression for a while now and from what we’ve been blessed with so far from this set, me thinks that after this project drops next Tuesday, you’re gonna want to go back and grab her older stuff to complete your collection, which you can get here.
I’d expect since the tracklisting was spotted over there, Jazz’s e-spot would be an obvious choice to find the links for copping the full set once it officially drops on the 12th.
