Common’s new album, The Dreamer will be released next month on the 22nd. I wonder if it’s titled The Dreamerbecause there are so many that wish he would stop talking about the streets of Chicago and make the music that reps those streets. Alas, ‘ tis but a dream! Even without Kanye on the boards for this one, it still has that crossover/pop/mainstream feel that much of Hip Hop is slowly succumbing to. I guess the teacher (No ID) has become the student. I’m sure there will be more leaks and opps to hear the album before it’s release, I just hope it doesn’t have me reachin for the No Doz.
