I became a fan of Che Grand after hearing 2009’s Everything’s Good Ugly and was curious to know when we might hear something new. Uche The Great, the title track from his latest offering, with it’s melodious chords and jazz leaning is easily my favorite track on the EP. Che tends to dabble amongst many genres on this release to varying degrees of effectiveness for this listener. One thing that is consistent, though, are the dope, well thought out lyrics on each tune. Completely free, this EP is def worth your time. Get ZFTP VIII: Uche The Great HERE
