Wow, Carlitta Durand drops a true gem with this single! I listened to Rather Sleep first but am truly moved by Ruby Jewel. She writes on her twitter page that “my grandmothers name was actually Ruby Jewel, the song was for her.” You can feel the raw emotion oozing from the song and even at less than two minutes, it’s just right.
