Being from Alabama, and Birmingham specifically I am a huge Sun Ra fan. It doesn’t make me unbiased though, and when our friends Belle Boussole released their cover of Sun Ra’s classic jazz tune, Love In Outer Space I was a bit skeptical. The laid back, electro-jazz, trip hop cover is great and was created when the duo was requested to perform a Sun Ra tune at a literary event.
