Sufyvn – Pseudarhythm, Vol. 2

The origin of Hip Hop sampling is storied to have begun when Marley Marl picked up a vocal sample when lifting some drums on his sampler, recognized its potential appeal and used that error to make some of the dopest beats of his time. Now samples are used in many ways, though not as abundantly as before, not only for aesthetics’ sake but also to bring awareness to sounds from other countries. Oh NO, and Onra have done it, plus many others I’m sure, and it’s always good to hear what’s out there. Check Sudanese producer, Sufyvn flips of his homeland’s music and I guarantee you’ll be going to ebay to see what you can get your hands on. Grab his other projects HERE
