Somehow missed the memo on “Fall For You” from Helsinki, Finland crew, Dolla Lova and their infectious blend of Soul and Hip-Hop or “SoulHop” as they’ve coined it.
Signed to Japan based label, Sweet Soul Records, Dolla Lova’s instrumentalists (Eliel Viitala & Tatu Santaniemi) have crafted a supreme LP that expertly blend soulful, funky grooves with a slight hip-hop tinge that do nothing but complement lead vocalist Heini Ikonen‘s velvety alto.

In contrast to Gotta Have‘s early N’dambi-esque vibes, “Lost My Way” is just as smooth but allows Ikonen to show off a little more of the grittier side to her voice.
