Just got this in from the folks at World Circuit and wanted to share with you all. If you are familiar with the magical sounds of Malian kora masters Ali Farka Touré and Toumani Diabaté, then you already know that their music is some of the most soothing and meditative you can come across.
Kala Djula is the new digital only single taken from their forthcoming album ‘Ali and Toumani’
This will be the second and last album recorded together by Ali Farka Touré and Toumani Diabaté, also featuring contributions from Cachaíto Lopez. This album follows on from the hugely successful and Grammy winning ‘In the Heart of the Moon’ and is due for release in February 2010. (From World Circuit Records)
