Described as “a true blend of Soul & Jazz flavours,” The Hurst Selections Vol.1 does not disappoint. Compiled by Britain DJ Brian Hurst, the album is not truly confined by genre or geography for that matter! Artists on the compilation appear from as nearby as Atlanta and as faraway as Russia, and range from the unknown to wildly popular. One of my favorite tracks, Just Let Go combines the vocals of Atlanta’s Alex Latimore with saxophonist Joey Sommerville, Jeff Lorber & Najee. Think it can’t get any better?
