Gil-Scott-Heron

The Space Capsule, is a weekly free-form public radio show on kvlu.org.

Each week a mix of GOOD music ranging from Electronic, Dub-Step, Hip-Hop and Jazz gets a needle drop and rotation for the masses to vibe to.

They recently did a great Gil-Scott Heron tribute that I happened to grab hold to from one of the show’s hosts, Sinuendo and I must say, they picked some of the legends most memorable records, interspersing them within the 60 minute mix with a few other important records from either the same time period or within the same vein as GSH’s message.

Perfect tunes to remember the man’s musical contributions with as well as add a touch of depth to an otherwise lazy weekend.
