Robot Oxford assembled a quintet to relay his latest vision on the appropriately titled The Boombox Quintet. Robot Oxford doesnt play an instrument but arranged the tracks and added some additional production. Quincy Powell’s lazy drums really stand out on their flip of Devil’s Pie, which I’m sure is heavily influenced by Dilla who gets 2 tributes on this release. Grab the full project HERE
