Orchestre Poly-Rythmo – Pardon

Benin, West Africa’s  Orchestre Poly-Rythmo is back with a new album after 2 decades! Proving incontrovertibly that 20 years has done nothing to diminish Orchestre Poly-Rythmo’s capacity for fiery funk, Pardon shows the now 10 piece band in top form. Cononou Club, the group’s first new album in over 20 years, is available April 12th. Cononou Club is a celebration of the Poly-Rythmo sound with new versions of the band’s classics, including massive West African hit Gbeti Madjro, and a host of new compositions. There will be a limited two disk edition that features an exclusive bonus film documenting their new recording sessions and following the band as they undertake their first ever international tour across Europe, USA and Brazil. The bonus disk also includes alternative album mixes and live recordings
