OC & Apollo Brown – Prove Me Wrong [Download]

This album hasn’t left my rotation since it released last month and for a few good reasons.

1.) It’s OC.
2.) Apollo Brown laced the tracks something crazy.
3.) It’s just straight up GOOD music that’s worth the 10 bills.
4.) 16 tracks of repeat worthy music is no small feat in today’s Hip-Hop landscape.

Yeah, I know there are plenty of artists out there that can fall within the same realm and trust me they get #skeffanselm like props too but it’s becoming more and more of a chore these days to sift through all the genre blending, extra cryptic emotional struggle rhyme/singers to find something I can stomach for more than a perfunctory 5 seconds after pressing play.

So when projects like this one get released and house tracks like this one, I take serious advantage, as you should too.

Over Apollo’s proficient re-working of Barry Forgie‘s “Dawn Mists“, OC brings his familiar nimble, highly adaptable flow with such lyrical consistency, you’d almost forget that it has been three years since Oasis released and fourteen years since Jewelz hit shelves.

Go HERE or use the Bandcamp widget to cop this LP or at least the three freebie tracks. If you’re like me, you sorely need it in your life to inject some realness back in and break up the musical monotony.
