Vain is a beautiful jazzy number from the multitalented Monet and will appear on the singer/flautist’s upcoming album, Awakening. Anticipation has been mounting for her latest album since Vain was featured as SOULTRACKS.com featured track of the month in October 2008 where it reached close to 3000 downloads. Awakening is scheduled for release in December and has production by Steve Wallace, Angela Johnson, DJ Spinna, and Ethan White (Tortured Soul) amongst others.
