Probably to my disadvantage, but I’ve never checked out Mac Miller. I just assumed it was some more Asher Roth white boy, party rap, but when he included 2 of my favorite emcees from 2 of my favorite groups on this remix I’m left with no choice but to check him out. Of the Soul Remix is just the type of track that I’ve been missing: playful yet skillful lyrics over an aesthetically pleasing beat that makes me want to go check out Miller’s back catalogue.
