Alison Crockett’s 2004 On becoming a Woman is an album that I hadn’t listened to in a while but is a treasure chest of gems. I first heard Like Rain playing from a friend’s mp3 player and immediately went and copped the album. Alison takes a topic like a bad relationship and somehow manages to make it sound sexy. A truly talented singer and all around cool peoples, Alison isnt one that you want to sleep on even though she’s been silent for awhile
