Sweetback’s 1996 self titled album was released in the midst of the midst of the birth of the “neo soul” phenomenon and got constant play from me. I was able to locate this 12″ with an unreleased remake of Bozz Scaggs’ Lowdown and 2 remixes of Au Natural featuring Bahamadia. Here’s a remix by a group that Im unable to find anymore information on, Spacegoat Skeleton. How mysterious!
