Jae Franklin – Sunshine (Fireflies) prod. by Tensei [Download]

We dropped the third installment of our “Seasonal Series“, WNTRFRSH, earlier this week to rave reviews and kudos across the board. If you haven’t grabbed it yet, you can still do so over HERE.

Each track on the compilation is outstanding in its own right but since its release, I’ve gotten numerous emails, Twitter DM’s and even a couple of G-talks regarding track five and the uber melodic vocals on it. Vocals which belong to Houston, TX, now South Korea transplant, Jae Franklin.

Jae first arrived on my radar with the 2011 release of her buzzworthy third project, “Always Needed You” and I’ve been digging her fresh twist on “ElectroWorldSoul” ever since, which is what prompted me to add this exclusive goodie into the mix. Per normal, the Chicago based Plug Research production team turns in more of their benchmark production, utilizing robotic strings, bouncy hand claps and tinkling electronic chimes, giving Franklin’s nimble mezzo-soprano ample space to shine here, just as she did on Tensei‘s “TWO” release earlier this year.

Jae will be dropping her newest project, “Universal Language: Prelude 3“, very soon, so you should stick around our headers for more info about it and check out her previous Universal Language projects over HERE to catch up.
