I came across this remix of Imaani’s “Found My Light” while checking the sidebar on a related YouTube video. Since I’d always been a fan of the Nottingham, Englander’s voice on Incognito‘s last few albums, I quickly gave it a click.
Shot over the summer and featuring a cast of close family and friends, the new video is the second part of this new release as the original is an Acoustic Version.
It’s dope too but this remix has got a lot more groove to it and the visual treatment makes more use of lyrics in regards to rearing children and enjoying family.
With any hope, her soon-to-come 3 track EP, releasing on Reel People Music, will continue in this kind of fashion.
