I am anxiously awaiting DJ Mitsu’s new album Word to the Wise. I’ve been a fan since he dropped 2003’s New Awakening which included many dope tunes such as Right Here featuring Dwele. DJ Mitsu has gone on to do a plethora of remixes and was even commissioned to do a mix for the legendary Blu Note records. Word to the Wise drops this month and features Mark de Clive Lowe, Georgia Anne Muldrow, and Jose James among others.
