I’d like to begin by saying thanks to DJ Premier for releasing this old Gangstarr loop on his upcoming project with Bunpy Knuckles, The Collection. I would have loved to have heard G.U.R.U. on this one but Freddie Fox does a great job of storytelling about life on the road with the crew. It’s interesting to see that the posse is making individual joints but not coming together collectively to honor G.U.R.U. Maybe it’s in the works. In the meantime, look out for more of Freddie Foxxx ripping old Premo beats on the soon to be released The Collection. Shouts to DJ Premier Blog
