I thought it odd that I would get some electronic correspondence about Leslie Fiest without having opted into any specific mailings about her. Then I remembered that I did just post about her lead single the other day. So just to prove to me that you never know who is scanning what gets posted to blogs and sites these days and feeding it into their SEO engines; this AM an email hit the inbox greeting me with an invite to stream Fiest‘s new LP in it’s entirety before it’s official October 3rd release.
No biggie and I’m actually thankful because I’ve been listening to the stream as I type and have yet to be disappointed. Though she’s been recording on the solo tip since 2000, the world at large didn’t catch on until that #evilfruit commercial featured “1234” from her “The Reminder” disc. I thought it was cool but wasn’t converted until I caught ear of this one.
