The name Emeli Sandé has been popping up in my gReader quite a bit as of late and though I’d never heard of her before, when does that ever stop me from giving something a listen.
After the press of play, I was quickly taken in, not only by her shock of cropped platinum blond tresses but her soaring vocals on this upbeat jam.

Plus her recent live Biz Session for The Sun, where she performed a moving rendition of Coldplay’s “Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall“, is what really cinched it for me. And unless I’m in the UK this coming November (very doubtful) for her upcoming tour, that will be the only way I get to see her live show.
